Energy Fields is a solo exhibition in two parts: Walking-Painting and Meanders or Labyrinthine Thoughts (after the Portrait of Margareta by Jan Van Eyck), held in both spaces of the Galerie Jaeger Bucher – the Marais Space Rive Droite and Seine Rive Gauche.

With the new series of Walking-Painting works in black and white, the artist abandons her usual paintbrush composed of several horse tails for a funnel she fills with ink to create an effect similar to that normally obtained with a paintbrush. Moving rapidly over sheets of paper spread out over the floor, while guiding the funnel that blots large quantities of ink, she produces lines that criss-cross and branch out in all directions. By experimenting with different heights, walking at different speeds and pouring different amounts of ink, these Walking-Paintings are a kind of stroll of the artist through a landscape created by her body in movement, a landscape created in such a moment of complete unison with the universe’s fundamental electro-magnetic and gravitational forces that painting translates the invisible.
