Shiseido Europe’s President and CEO, Louis Desazars, commissioned Fabienne Verdier for an installation at the company’s new Faubourg St. Honoré headquarters unveiled at an important corporate presentation on 7 October.
The two large-scale polyptychs, measuring 2.5m × 3.6m are entitled Pneuma, from the Greek meaning breath, spirit, wind.
“I conceived two polyptychs to face each other and capture a primal energy, pneuma — a vitality common to all living systems. The waves of each movement or counter-movement spread, respond to and dilate with the others in space.”

Louis Desazars, PDG Europe de Shiseido, a demandé à Fabienne Verdier de réaliser une installation pour le nouveau siège social de l’entreprise, rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré. Elle a été montrée lors d’une importante présentation institutionnelle, le 7 octobre.
Les deux polyptyques grand format (2,5 m × 3,6 m) s’intitulent Pneuma, en référence au mot grec qui signifie souffle, esprit, vent.
